Hey y’all!

Today, I want to share a picture that recently caught my eye and warmed my heart. But before I do, please head over to this link (https://linktr.ee/gobechurch) and follow us in some of our spaces! Now, on to the picture below:

In the heart of a quaint church, adorned with music sheets and instruments ready to serenade the heavens, lie boxes wrapped in a warm hue. Now, these aren’t just any boxes. Each one is beautifully labeled with words that tug at our soul – Joy, Kindness, Peace, Patience, Gentleness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Self-Control, and Love.

Ever felt the rush of excitement unboxing a gift? That flutter in your stomach, the curiosity, the anticipation? Now, imagine unboxing these! But here’s the catch – these gifts aren’t material. They’re the virtues we strive to embed in our lives, the core essence of our spiritual journey. Each box is a visual representation of the fruits of the spirit. And guess what? We all have access to them. No price tags attached!

The word “Joy” stands boldly on one box. Have you ever paused to think about what brings us genuine joy? It’s not just the fleeting happiness that comes from a material gain or a momentary pleasure. No, this joy runs deep. It’s the contentment we feel in our heart, knowing we’re on the right path, connected with our purpose, and surrounded by love.

Next, we see “Kindness” and “Goodness.” Isn’t it amazing how a simple act of kindness can light up someone’s day? And the beauty of it is, every time we sprinkle a bit of kindness, we receive it back tenfold. It’s like a boomerang of positive energy! And goodness? It’s the innate nature in all of us to do right, to be the best version of ourselves, not for applause but because it’s simply the right thing to do.

“Peace” and “Patience” are cozily nestled next to each other. How apt! In this bustling world of ours, peace seems elusive, doesn’t it? But maybe it’s about creating our little oasis amidst the chaos. And patience? Ah, in an era of instant gratification, patience is like that old, wise tree standing tall, teaching us the virtues of waiting, understanding, and growing at our own pace.

“Gentleness,” “Faithfulness,” and “Self-Control” remind us of the delicate balance we must maintain in life. To be gentle but firm in our beliefs, to remain steadfast and faithful to our purpose, and to have the strength to control our impulses for the greater good.

And then there’s “Love.” The most potent of all. Love is the force that binds these virtues together, the foundation of our existence. Remember the Beatles’ classic “All You Need Is Love”? They were on to something! Love for oneself, love for others, love for the universe. It’s the magical glue that binds us all.

In the backdrop of these profound boxes, a carved sign reads – “This do in remembrance of me.” A profound statement reminding us of the teachings and sacrifices of spiritual leaders. It resonates with a deep sense of reverence, grounding us in the knowledge that these virtues aren’t new-age concepts. They’ve been passed down through millennia, guiding countless souls.

So, the next time we’re seeking direction or purpose, let’s remember these boxes. Let’s unbox these virtues, embrace them, and share them. Because, my dear readers, these are the gifts that keep on giving. The real treasures of life.

What about you? Which box would you unbox today? Share in the comments below, and let’s embark on this journey of spiritual unboxing together! 🌈💖

Till next time, spread love and light!
