If you have not heard, I have been tasked to plant a digital-first church in the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. I am AMPED for this opportunity.
But it occurred to me that most of my physical congregation had no idea what it meant for me to be planting a digital-first church. And even less people understand what it means for me to plant a church with community building as the primary focus rather than worship. This is not a criticism of my people. Most of this is completely new and foreign. It is going to require explanation.
So, over the next few weeks, I am opening my sermon sessions to a Q&A format I’m calling Holy Conversations: Go Be Church. The video below is the first in the series. Let it serve and an intro to the rest of the conversation.
